Between The Black & White

DSC03809 (2) (853x1280)

I’m a big fan of anything with a vintage feel, and I guess I was inspired by The Great Gatsby when I put this outfit together.  Although my hat is really a simple beanie, the large crochet flower just reminds me girls in flapper dresses and my shoes are a nod to gentleman wearing spats.  I kept my outfit from feeling too much like a costume by wearing jeans and keeping the colors limited to black and white with accents of silver.

  1. Wow, I like this style! And your shoes – omg, I love the brogue, the t-bar and the black and white combo! In fact, my manicure today would make a perfect match, being matte white with one black spot on each nail. 😉
(I’ve finally published my first blog post, but the set up teases a bit, so I can’t add any tabs, which is really frustrating. However, you’re welcome to visit my blog, and in the nearest future I’ll make a post about my black and white nails!)

    1. Thanks Laura! I’ve got a contest happening soon with Lavishy to win that necklace in gold tone, hope you enter! 🙂

      xoxo
