It’s been awhile since I took pictures in my usual picture spot because there was a car parked in front of it. Also, I’ve been feeling lazy lately. I have had a few picture worthy outfits, just not enough energy to make it happen. So today, I thought I would capture pictures of the other kimono jacket I bought recently. I got this lovely number at Cotton On. I love it because of the sheer material and the way it drapes in the back. I wore with a plain black tank top, jeans, and simple shoes, but dressed it up with my cameo pendant/pin. I took a close up by request of the beautiful Christine of the blog Un-Stitched. She asked that I take a close up of some of some of my jewelry, and I thought it was fitting to take one of my vintage cameo, since she is so great at finding great buys and vintage items, creating sophisticated and feminine outfits.
Outfit: Cotton On sheer kimono cardigan; Old Navy Jeans; Rue 21 tank top; Modern Vintage shoes; vintage cameo pendant; Michael Kors watch; Wendy Brandes ring; Coach sunnies
I absolutely adore that cardigan! I can envision it in any number of ensembles.
Thanks Kimi! You are very right: a great versatile piece!

I’ve been wanting to do an edgy cameo for a while but…well, there are a lot of things I’d like to do jewelry-wise if I had the money for it! I sort of slowly work through the ideas.
Oh my, please do an edgy cameo Wendy! That would be awesome!

Cameos remind me of my grandmother, and a necklace that I was given, I really love them- very classic. I think that we all have days like that, in reference to you not feeling up to taking snaps, I have actually forgotten a few times to carry my camera with me of course of the days I actually like my outfit…lol.
Lovely sheer kimono Cy (looks like a great versatile piece, no?) xxo
Thanks Madison! I feel the same way about cameos, too.
