The Latest From LEGOLAND®: LEGO NINJAGO Days Jan. 13 & 14

Where did the time go? It’s 2018 already, and we’re starting off with a bang at LEGOLAND^® California Resort! It’s Ninjago Days this weekend to celebrate the opening of the new 4D movie, LEGO^®NINJAGO^® – Master of the 4th Dimension!

We attended the media preview last night, but in all honesty, we missed the movie! After picking up my son and then my niece, we hit more traffic than anticipated and arrived after the last showing. We still caught some of the fun of the evening, and we’ll definitely come back to watch it. But YOU can still catch it this weekend! Check out all of the information below, mixed in with some pictures from the event last night.

I’ve also included pictures from when we attended Ninjago Days last year in celebration of The Ninjago Movie and the new video game back in September 2017. Cheers!

WHAT:

The LEGO^® NINJAGO^® phenomenon continues at LEGOLAND^® California Resort during LEGO NINJAGO Days Jan. 13 & 14 to celebrate the opening of the new 4D film, LEGO^®NINJAGO^® – Master of the 4th Dimension, playing exclusively at LEGOLAND Parks and LEGOLAND Discovery Centers nationwide. Guests are invited to join in the LEGO NINJAGO fun at the family theme park and meet some of their favorite “The LEGO^® NINJAGO^® Movie” characters including Lloyd, Sensei Wu, Kai, Jay and Nya. Guests can also participate in activities such as completing a scavenger hunt in Miniland U.S.A. and put their ninja gaming skills to the test with the brand new “The LEGO^® NINJAGO^® Movie” video game. All activities are included with the price of admission into LEGOLAND California Resort.

THE LATEST FROM LEGOLAND®: Happy Halloween!

It’s that time of year for ghosts, ghouls and goblins of all shapes and sizes to celebrate! In honor of Halloween, here are the pictures we took at LEGOLAND® California’s Brick-Or-Treat Party Nights a few weeks ago. Did you attend? Let me know in the comments below and have a safe Halloween!

My sister, husband and I accompanied Dominic and Me-Lin for a truly spooktacular night!

The candy stations were a big hit!

Loved the music all throughout the park, including the “Rock Band” above and the live music on stage at the Heartlake City Fall Festival below!

All kinds of creatures and creepy characters were lurking around the park!

The Latest From LEGOLAND® – The LEGO® STAR WARS™: THE FORCE AWAKENS Miniland Model Display

I’m sure you’ve heard by now that the longest LEGO^® STAR WARS™ Miniland model ever built was just unveiled last week at LEGOLAND® California. LEGOLAND® bloggers got a sneak peek at the media preview a couple of weeks ago. My sister and I brought the kids to partake in the fun!

Sarah Michelle-Gellar, best known for Buffy the Vampire Slayer but is currently the voice of Seventh Sister in Star Wars Rebels, was on hand to help the young guests “power up” the display with their light sabers!

The detail was simply amazing!

Have I mentioned my love for themed food? There was plenty of snacks on hand to feed the young Padawans!

I think Mei-Lin and Dominic had fun, don’t you?

KUSI’s Brandi Williams was on hand to interview Julie Estrada, Media Contact at LEGOLAND®

We then got to meet Brandi and she was so sweet! She took pictures with us and let the kids hold her KUSI microphone!

Imagine my surprise to see myself and the kids as part of the media kit that went out to everyone after the preview night!

The Latest From LEGOLAND®: Spooktacular Fun at Brick-or-Treat 2016!

Halloween is just around the corner, and this is your last weekend to get in on all of the festivities at LEGOLAND® California! We went last weekend, and it’s amazing how they transform LEGOLAND® into the hauntingly happiest place to be! To really turn up the fun, come in costume, like Dominic did!

If you want to attend Brick-or-Treat, you’ll have to purchase tickets at the park because pre-book online tickets have sold out. If you can’t make it out, my husband and I captured lots of pictures of our spooktacular night. Cheers and Happy Halloween!

So, I had to post this picture because I failed so miserably the first time we rode NINJAGO The Ride, putting up only 3,000 points (post here)! Now I can safely say that I redeemed myself at 129,550 points, securing the 3rd best score of the entire day!

Brick-or-Treat Party Nights at LEGOLAND® California Resort!

It’s that time of year when ghosts and gobblins of all ages come out to play: Halloween! LEGOLAND® California will be presenting their “Brick-or-Treat Party Nights” and festivities start this week and run every Saturday until October 29th 2016. They will have extended hours from 5pm until 9pm, because we all know Halloween is so much better after dark!

My family will be heading out to enjoy all of the excitement on October 22nd, and I’ll be sure to post pictures of our ghoulish fun! If you haven’t purchased your tickets, get them at the link below:

What’s Next at LEGOLAND® California in 2017!

LEGO^® Star Wars Miniland will be expanded to include LEGO^® Star Wars™: The Force Awakens Miniland Model Displays, which will include six scenes featured in the first 30 minutes of Star Wars™: The Force Awakens!

Surfer’s Bay will open at LEGOLAND® Water Park, giving guests an opportunity to ride a wave!

The Latest From LEGOLAND®: NINJAGO World & NINJAGO The Ride Now Open!

Today, NINJAGO World and NINJAGO The Ride are open at LEGOLAND®! As a LEGOLAND® blogger, I’ve got some exclusive pictures of when Dominic, my sister and I attended the media preview last week, including the press preview video (you may see some familiar faces). Before you become a master of Spinjitzu, you can hone your skills at Zane’s Temple Build, Kai’s Spinners, Cole’s Rock Climb, Jay’s Lightning Drill and present all of what you learned on NINJAGO The Ride! NINJAGO The Ride is a 4D experience, allowing you to take direct action in the ride to determine the outcome. Please enjoy the pictures and I hope you get out to LEGOLAND® to visit NINJAGO World and try out NINJAGO The Ride!

The food at the new Ninja Kitchen was fantastic. I highly recommend the Bao Buns (pictured on the left)!

Such an action packed opening ceremony. I think the Ninjago ninjas have found a new recruit, Dominic is a natural!

Like my sister, Rholnna, you have to wear 3D classes to enjoy the full effect!

Oh NO, Master Chen is a bad guy?!

We definitely had a lot of fun on NINJAGO The Ride, but we didn’t quite grasp the concept (it was quite overwhelming to experience the whole 4D thing). We figured it out in the end, and we vow to return and better our scores!
